Licentry assumes someone is actively trying to run your software without paying, and is built around that.
Cryptlex Starter is listed at 100 dollars a month. Licentry starts at 19. If you are selling a few hundred licences of a 40 dollar product, that difference is most of your margin, and the extra buys features you will not switch on for years.
Integration is five HTTPS calls. That means Rust, Go, Delphi, AutoLISP, a Unity game or a Python tool all work the same day, without waiting for a library to exist for your platform.
Device history, IP history, geography per key and per buyer watermarked Windows downloads. When you suspect one customer is running your software across an office, the answer is in the dashboard rather than in a hunch.

We would rather lose the signup than have you switch and regret it. These are real reasons to buy theirs instead.
Concurrent licences served from a customer's own machine, counted across their site, are a real Cryptlex strength and a normal requirement in engineering and CAD software. Licentry caps concurrent sessions per licence, which is not the same thing.
Cryptlex is built for genuinely air-gapped and long-offline activation. Licentry has an offline grace window signed with ES256, which covers a laptop on a plane or a broken connection. It is not built for a machine that never touches a network.
LexActivator is a mature library with a long history in C, C++ and .NET desktop software. If your team wants a linked library rather than HTTPS calls, that is a real difference in day to day work.
Cryptlex is the safer pick for engineering software sold into locked down networks, where floating licences and true offline activation are the requirement. Below that, most of what you pay for sits unused. Licentry covers the same core job, binds harder at runtime, and starts at a fifth of the listed entry price.
